About ROCCPO

Rose of Charity was established in 2008 and it’s a registered organization with registration number SW10/145 under section 31 of the Act. It was founded by Simangele (Sima) Moyo in response to the growing number of children orphaned by HIV/AIDS she encountered on the streets of Victoria Falls.  She listened to their heart-wrenching stories which included the struggles of child headed families due to loss of parents as a result of HIV/AIDS pandemic, abandoned children, victims of child prostitution and from disabled parents which some young children in developed countries rarely must contend with.  Not only were these children devastated by the loss of their parents but with no family, they became homeless and destitute.
